Water

The Floods are a series of pieces inspired by our changing climate and more specifically the floods we have experienced.

The Lakes: 500ppm (the wave)
Six triangular canvases are mounted together to create a hexagon. The overall shape is painted with a wave reminiscent of the Hokusai Wave. On the Mountain which in this case is a Cumbrian mountain is a wind turbine in blue against a grey sky

Mother
A beautiful woman painted in the style of an icon with a gold halo and gold and brown hair, looks out from the picture. The CLIMBER
A naked female, climbs a rope made out of a stream of water. She hangs in front of a golden orb of light and the background is a deep maroon colour. The six individual pieces of the canvas from the picture called The Lakes in the series are recreated and are scattered in the background floating in space
